A walk through the woods

This image reminds me of Robert Frost’s poem, “The Road Not Taken”.

Here is my favorite excerpt of that poem:
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

One another thing that this image sort of reminds me of is the main character in one of my books.

Her heart has been trampled on by the one person in the world that she thought that she could trust.

Over the past few weeks she has been having strange and mysterious encounters with someone, a stranger.

Then one night after an encounter with her mysterious stranger, she finds out that it was her ex and that he has been somehow invading her dreams and her sanity. He shows up out of the blue with her mom after she came to this realization and runs off into the woods. Music is playing in the background. It soothes her and yet, adds to her insanity.
