Chicago Tribune

Moments ago, I submitted my short story, “Two Sides in Time” into a contest through the Chicago Tribune. It is very exciting just to be able to submit my work to such a nationally recognized newspaper. The contest ends near the beginning of the New Year, and I will most definitely keep all of you posted.

On a quick side note, the prequel to some of my short stories may be coming to Amazon in the New Year, and possibly as a second edition. I will be posting within the next week regarding your thoughts and ideas on what you would like to see for a new revised cover. I’m also thinking about offering a free copy of the original paperback book to one lucky reader and follower with the best cover idea. To get you started, the name of the book is, “A Summer Affair” by Jenness Jordan. A little background on the story: I wrote it when I was 15.

Merry Christmas and God Bless!

About jazzyjenness

I'm the mother of three girls, a Grammy to two little girls, a girlfriend and we have a cat with many nick names, depending on his mood and activity, or lack thereof. I've been writing since I was about 8 or 9, and it is something that I love to do. When we read books, we do it for entertainment, escape, and education; the three E's. These are also the reasons why I write, to entertain, educate and escape. My desire is not just to do what I love, but I want to give hope and inspiration to others through my stories. Currently, I am working on obtaining my Master's degree in Creative Writing and hope to also become an instructor at my school one day and teach Fiction Workshop.
